Training Location: Tortellino D’Oro – Oaklands

Position Overview
We are looking for a professional and experienced Barman/Barwoman to join our bar team at Sandton Gate. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training at Tortellino D’Oro in Oaklands, ensuring full alignment with our service standards, cocktail recipes, and brand expectations prior to operating at the Sandton Gate location.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of classic and contemporary cocktails
- Measure, mix, and present beverages accurately and consistently
- Provide knowledgeable drink recommendations to guests
- Ensure high standards of presentation, taste, and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Monitor bar stock levels and report shortages
- Handle POS systems and cash responsibly (where applicable)
- Comply with liquor licensing laws and responsible alcohol service policies
- Deliver professional, friendly, and efficient customer service
- Work collaboratively with management and service teams
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a barman/barwoman
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail preparation
- Confident in preparing a wide range of cocktails
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Preferred Skills
- Experience in high-end or busy hospitality environments
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience

Pay: R5 600,00 – R6 500,00 per month
