Career Start is seeking two vibrant, customer-centric Retail Sales Assistants to join our growing in-house digital enrollment team in Cape Town. This is a premium opportunity for a high-energy professional with a retail sales background who is ready to transition into a structured, desk-based corporate environment. This role is specifically focused on polished, confident individuals who will support our brand’s mission of global excellence by engaging directly with professionals looking to upgrade their careers. You will act as an in-office brand ambassador, conducting professional consultations and guiding applicants through our resume-building, interview prep, and training enrollment pipelines.

Daily Responsibilities

  • In-House Consultations: Engage directly with inbound leads and platform applicants via phone, email, and live chat, delivering professional consultations on Career Start’s training and career preparation services.

  • Pipeline Enrollment: Guide candidates step-by-step through our digital platform registration, ensuring they select the right training courses and resume-building packages for their goals.

  • Sales & Target Delivery: Convert platform inquiries into active, premium enrollments, consistently meeting daily and weekly revenue and onboarding targets.

  • CRM Data Management: Maintain 100% accurate, real-time records of all candidate interactions, profile updates, and subscription statuses within our central database.

  • Brand Representation: Maintain an impeccable, articulate, and highly encouraging tone that aligns with our brand’s world-class professional standards.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: A strong background in target-driven retail sales, cellular sales, or customer-facing consultative roles where you regularly hit performance metrics.

  • Market Alignment: Deep comfort operating in high-volume client environments, aligning with the active Retail search trends in the Cape Town market.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a polished, professional, and persuasive tone suited for an international career platform.

  • Tech Literacy: High proficiency navigating digital platforms, video conferencing tools, CRM software, and online payment gateways.

  • Self-Direction: High intrinsic motivation and the discipline to manage a busy digital queue independently within our structured framework.
